In this role, you'll work closely with FAAS directors, managers, and other senior personnel at Grant Thornton, as well as key stakeholders from our multinational client base.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, and Luxembourg GAAP.Support clients in optimizing business functions, including improving the financial statement process, reviewing and remediating business operations, and participating in interim staffing projects.Build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal teams and client representatives.Coordinate with auditors to ensure seamless communication and project delivery.Actively promote the FAAS function within Grant Thornton and externally to clients.Experience, Skills, and Attributes: Proven experience in the financial services industry, particularly in the asset management sector, either directly or through practice.ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent IFAC certification).Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE).Audit experience with large companies, multinational entities, and complex financial instruments.In-depth knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards, with a basic understanding of Irish GAAP and Luxembourg GAAP.Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements within the funds industry.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Excel.Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to articulate complex financial information clearly.Eagerness to learn quickly and stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments, particularly around IFRS and US GAAP.Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.A collaborative team player who supports others and contributes to group success.Life at GT Reward and Benefits: Our reward and benefits are designed to create an environment where our people can flourish.
