Description: CPL Healthcare in conjunction with The Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT) in the Dublin North, Dublin North Central and Dublin Northwest (CHODNCC) areas, are seeking a Senior Grade Occupational Therapist to work with children and young people (0-18) with a range of complex needs.
The role will involve interdisciplinary team working and family centred practice.Duties and Responsibilities To carry an appropriate clinical caseload assigned by CDNM, based on the clinical need of the CDNT.To prioritise referrals and manage waiting list in order to optimise the quality, efficacy and equity of the service provided.Be responsible for the maintenance of standards of practice of self and staff appointed to clinical / designated area(s).Understand and be able to implement risk assessment for splinting/casting, equipment provision, as well as non-provision of serviceTo prioritise together with the CDNM and the Occupational Therapist Manager referrals and involvement with service users/centres in order to optimise the quality, efficacy and equity of the service provided.
To maintain a waiting list when necessary.Essential Criteria Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy Studies or equivalent qualification.Membership or eligibility for membership of the Irish Association of Occupational TherapistsMinimum of three years satisfactory post qualification experienceExperience of working with children with complex needsProvide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU or be eligible for registration.Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and strong command of English.Relevant ICT skillsSalary/BenefitsRange: €54,677 to €64,380 (experience dependent)PensionAnnual Leave – 30 days pa35 hours per weekRelocation package - if applicablePlease forward your CV to or call Grace for more information on +353872310384
