Oradeo Recruitment is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Officer to join a top-tier contractor working on high-profile projects in Dublin.
Role OverviewThis position involves overseeing health and safety standards across multiple project sectors while working within an ISO-certified environment (ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001). You will collaborate closely with the Health and Safety Manager to drive compliance and foster a safety-first culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and uphold health and safety procedures on sites.Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and propose improvements.Update the Safety Statement to comply with regulations.Record and analyze incidents, providing insights to senior management.Deliver inductions, refresher training, and ensure compliance with HSA legislation.Represent the company during audits and external inspections.Attend regular site meetings and champion safety initiatives.RequirementsFormal Health & Safety qualification (3rd Level preferred).Minimum of 6 years' experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally with a main contractor.Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 environments.Strong knowledge of safety regulations and a proactive approach to safety culture.
