The project: We are now seeking senior lead engineers to join our team.
The successful candidate will perform and lead complex client engineering assignments to ensure that business priorities are met.
The client engineering function is responsible for undertaking project design reviews/site inspections on both contestable and non-contestable transmission projects to ensure that projects are developed in accordance with client's functional specification standards.

You will manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).
You will actively network and seek understanding of best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge of Mace group, the centres of excellence, Mace way control centre and knowledge hub.
You'll need to have: Good technical knowledge in high voltage transmission design with strong knowledge of transmission technology including new and emerging technologies.Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on high quality report writing and ability.Ability to influence others to move towards a common vision or goal and to work collaboratively with and through others.Experience conceiving and introducing innovative ideas, solutions or new ways of doing things with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.Experience completing onsite inspections and monitoring of construction progress for compliance.Full drivers licence.
You'll also have: Membership of EI, RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
Substantial experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the electrical sector.
Property or infrastructure project management expertise.
Commercial and financial acumen.
Experience of leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams.
Experience of developing and forming relationships with senior stakeholders.
Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
