Vantive is looking to create global service center(s) that will act as the hub for procurement services.
You will be joining at an exciting time where you can shape the creation of this center by recruiting the team, training & onboarding them while establishing processes and metrics.
This position reporting to the Senior Director of Procurement Systems & Analytics will be accountable for the operations of centers with connected processes, efficient operations, effective governance, and trusted data.
The role of the Team leader is to ensure effective and efficient operations of this service center. The scope of the role is global and includes overseeing the underlying team members. You will ensure all requests are addressed in a timely and professional manner. You will be the escalation point for all requests and are responsible for implementing strategies to improve end user satisfaction.
What you'll do: Hire a team with the right talent and lead them effectivelyBuild a global operating model to support in scope processesCreate all required processes, procedures and metricsRecruit, onboard and train new team membersLead knowledge transfer from current team members of Baxter HealthcareActively oversee day-to-day transitional tasksDevelop KPIs to measure efficiency and effectiveness in collaboration with the Data & Analytics teamPresent metrics and KPIs to stakeholdersSupport end users of Procurement processes and systems GloballyAssisting with the development, testing and implementation of new technologies and upgrades of existing technologies, including ERP and Coupa upgrades & electronic cataloguesMonitor and evaluate the performance of the team to ensure customer service standards are metIdentify areas for process improvement and implement changes to ensure the team is providing the best service to our end user communityManaging escalations and ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely mannerIdentify issues, analyze the root cause, and develop effective solutions to ensure customer satisfactionTroubleshooting and resolving complex technical issuesWhat you'll bring: Bachelor's Degree; MBA desirableMinimum 10 years' operational and people management experience in procurement shared servicesExperience setting up and leading global team membersExperience managing global and diverse stakeholder interests and expectationsHigh level technical aptitude. Engineering, Electronic or other Technical trainingHigh level data and analytics knowledgeSolutions driven with ability to think strategically and globallyExcellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal, analytical and presentation skillsRisk management skillset with ability to drive innovative solutions and problem-solving analysis and resolutionStrong project management skills to drive actions to closureKnowledge of root cause analysis, problem solving, continuous improvement, corrective and preventative actionAbility to travel as neededAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and managementPreferred: Experience in a regulated and highly technical environment preferred, such as experience in the Automotive, Aerospace, OEM, and/or Medical Device industriesFluency in other European languages
