We now seek an experienced mechanical engineer to join our team at a time of growth in the business and the role would be suited to a candidate looking to grow and lead the Mechanical department.
The Role As part of this role you will be required to:
Act as project manager on medium sized projectsAct as mechanical lead on larger projects as part of multi-discipline teamsAct as mentor to junior and intermediate level engineersDesign of utility and HVAC systemsDevelopment of client specific equipment specifications, registers, schedules and equipment lists.Site visits and surveysAttendance at M&E workshopsClient & contractor meeting attendancesCoordination of mechanical and electrical services Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering with at least 8 years relevant experience.
Key experiences are listed below:
Track record of delivering engineering designs to client requirements from project inception through to commissioning and handoverProven ability of designing industrial scale mechanical systems – HVAC, steam, LPHW, compressed air, chilled water, potable water etcBe confident and approachable when working with staff members, other design disciplines and also clientsExposure to and being able to drive and navigate through BIM / Revit modelsExcellent command of the English language, especially in written form.Knowledge of MS Office suite – Teams, excel, word, outlook,Good understanding of EN and Irish standardsHighly organised and the ability to meet deliverable deadlines when required.
