Role Title: Senior Payroll Processor
Reporting To: Head of Payroll Processing
Location: Shared Services Centre, South Mall, Cork
Dalata Hotel Group plc is Ireland's largest hotel operator, with a current portfolio of 56 hotels with over 12,000 rooms and a pipeline of circa 800 rooms. Dalata successfully operate Ireland's two largest hotel brands, the Clayton and the Maldron Hotels across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe, as well as managing a small portfolio of partner hotels.
The candidate will assist in managing the operation of multiple payrolls across Ireland and theUK, paying up to 4,500 employees per week and ensuring timely andaccurate service delivery across multiple locations.
The role will be full time, permanent and based in our Group Offices in Cork with an option for hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities: To assist in managing the day to day running of the Payroll department which includes weekly and monthly payroll runs.Coordinate the administration of the company employee deductions across Ireland and theUK, including statutory deductions, pensions, and SAYE.Manage and coordinate Audit requests.Assist with Tax Year End activities for all payrolls.Ensuring new team members receive adequate training regarding payroll systems and processes.Assist in implementing business acquisitions as well new property openings in Ireland, the UK and Europe.Establish clear and consistent channels of communications with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also be required to work closely with these stakeholders on payroll-related tasks and projects. Key Requirements: 5 + years' experience in administering Ireland and UK payrolls.Experience in EMEA payrolls would be an advantage.Previous supervisory experience is necessary.Expertise using payroll systems.Experience in Megapay would be an advantage.Strong knowledge of Ireland andUK payroll legislations ensuring company compliance.Experience of auditing and reconciling payrolls.Previous experience in company mergers and acquisitions would bean advantage.Payroll Technician qualification (e.g., IPASS / CIPP) or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential.
