Senior Phlebotomist

Purpose of the job · To participate in the provision of a hospital wide phlebotomy service to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, that supports the clinical needs of patients and is consistent with the mission, vision, values, and strategic plan of the Hospital.

· To work under the direction of the Phlebotomy Manager to coordinate and supervise a team of phlebotomists to facilitate the delivery of the phlebotomy service.

· To provide support to the Phlebotomy Manager for the development of Phlebotomy services and embracing continuous improvement and necessary changes to achieve organizational objectives.

· Be responsible for the quality of their work and carry out their duties in accordance with Hospital policy

· Observe the strictest confidence when dealing with all aspects of patient or hospital information
