You will work directly with the Head of Transformation, with responsibility for delivery oversight for the portfolio of change programmes. Scope of responsibilities & Accountabilities: Business Case:Supporting sponsors with the planning, resourcing and management of the individual programmes, ensuring they are set up for successful delivery within defined cost, budget, quality and timescales. Benefits:Monitoring and taking action to ensure benefits are delivered in line with those defined in the business case. Costs:Managing actual and forecasted spend on programmes includingmonitoring and taking action to ensure agreed investment is spent appropriately. Resources: Ensuring a clear view of resource needs for the portfolio is in place from the outset and monitored throughout the portfolio lifecycle, proactively highlighting deviations, trends, dependencies and issues. Risks: Ensuring a good understanding of risks, at the individual programme and portfolio level, is maintained and effectively monitored. Committee Reporting: Collating a portfolio level view of benefits, costs, resourcing, risks, issues, actions and dependencies to support the reporting to the Transformation Committee, Executive Committees, and Group Transformation Office, as relevant. And ensuring consistent and coherent reporting whilst calling out issues/trends/impacts, identifying themes and areas for further investigation to support predictable delivery. Programme Support:Acting as consultant providing training, specialist advice and programme management as necessary across the portfolio. Oversight: Applying a deep understanding of Change to help decision making and look across deliveries to spot risks/opportunities: Using facts and data to challenge progress to plan, level of risk and value of investment at all levels to ensure successful outcome of Change. Promoting and championing the Aviva Change Framework and ensure adherence across the portfolio. Experience working in a project management office overseeing large, complex portfolio of change. Experience of project, programme, and portfolio reporting. Ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in creation of senior management reports, through PowerPoint, where attention to detail is key. Proven ability to track benefits and costs and experience in dependency mapping, risk management and resource planning. Understanding and experience in finance issues, budgeting and cost benefit analysis. Understanding of how to define and manage risks, issues and interdependencies as they relate to projects.
