Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Engineering team as a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer in our fantastic Belfast, Dublin, or Cork office - as well as taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model.

These include major UKI water companies, such as Uisce Éireann, Northern Ireland Water, Severn Trent, Wessex Water, Thames Water and Scottish Water. In this role, you will work alongside our project managers and lead design engineers to deliver the project design and delivery cycle, supporting various design stages of water and wastewater utility projects.
This will include carrying out feasibility studies, reference designs, detailed designs and preparation of reports and technical specifications.

Here's what you'll do: Deliver: You will develop detailed designs for wastewater treatment work upgrades, ensuring CDM compliance throughout design and construction.
Producing feasibility studies including financial and non-financial comparisons.
Ensure Quality: Review and verify calculations, technical reports, drawings, and models to ensure compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and procedures.
Collaborate: Work closely with clients and AECOM counterparts to develop innovative Sustainable Drainage Designs (SUDs) and renewable energy solutions for water and wastewater sites.

Qualifications Ready to push the limits of what's possible?
Here's what we're looking for: Civil Engineering degree qualified.
Experience using AutoCAD to create design packages and check work.
Experience working on the design and/or management of wastewater treatment infrastructure and non-infrastructure upgrade schemes.
Experience in compiling feasibility studies on wastewater treatment and/or infrastructure projects.
Experience in the development of contract preparation and administration using NEC and/or FIDIC forms of contract.
