We have a requirement for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Managed Services team on a pharmaceutical client site in West Dublin.
The successful candidate will work on various upcoming key projects.
Responsibilities Support the management and execution of projects throughout project life cycle from initiation to closeoutReport to the Projects Programme Manager and support a diverse portfolio of strategic projects with the capability to project manage small projects autonomously as the business requiresProject execution will focus on safety, schedule, and budget adherence while complying with good engineering practices, company policies, regulations, and codesManage cross functional teams, delivering complex Manufacturing Facility and Processing projects, in a highly automated GMP Production environmentManage the overall financial performance of engineering projects, including cash flow, life cycle costs, business opportunities and risksContractor/vendor management, project schedule management and schedule developmentRisk management and action plans to mitigate riskStrict adherence to safe working practices as set out in the safety statement and other company safety rulesControl and monitor the safe working practices of contractors while on siteUnderstanding of Environmental Health & Safety Requirements on a Pharmaceutical Plant Qualifications Degree in a relevant science/engineering discipline– Level 8 desirableExperience in managing cross functional teams, delivering complex Manufacturing Facility and processing projects, in a highly automated GMP production environmentDemonstrated capacity to effectively manage and execute projects from initiation to completionFull project lifecycle experience from end to end design through to C&Q and handoverUnderstands project management process; programming, scope development, design development, implementation and project closeoutExcellent communication / organisation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation from project teams to site leadership teamExecution/adherence – demonstrated record of on time deliveryDemonstrable record of delivering right first time handover of documentation.Ability to work with end user on developing operating procedures, maintenance & calibration plansStrong competency in CMMS systems, preferably MaximoStrong computer MS Office skills (PP, Word, Excel, etc.
