Senior Psychologist Based in CRC Lead Agency Childrens Disability Network Team. The CRC Childrens Disability Network Teams (CDNT) will be providing intervention to children from the age of 0-18 years, presenting with complex developmental needs requiring inter-disciplinary intervention. Our services are based upon a Family Centered Practice Model in line with Progressing Disability Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team. We currently have vacancies for permanent contracts on the following teams: Balbriggan CDNT: Permanent full-time role, 35 hours Swords CDNT: Permanent full-time, 35 hours Part-time and full-time applications will be considered for both role The successful candidate will have the following essential requirements: A University Degree or Diploma obtained with first or second class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject. A recognised postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology Applicants must have at least five years satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology, no more than three years of which was spent in gaining the postgraduate professional qualification and no less than two years full-time spent in post-qualification experience as a professional psychologist. Years in excess of the permitted three years for completion of the post-graduate training or time not worked will not be taken into consideration when assessing the five years experience requirement. Experience of completing standardised cognitive assessment with children Excellent report writing skills Excellent communication, initiative and time management skills Flexibility and teamwork skills which are key to this role. Desirable requirement: Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder Experience working with children with physical disabilities Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities Experience completing Assessment of Need Full drivers license and access to car.
