We currently have a requirement for Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager.
The role will include all aspects of Quantity Surveying both pre and post contract across a variety of sectors.
The successful candidate will be equally capable of working independently or as part of a larger team and will report directly to the managing surveyor.

Hybrid work pattern, based from Cork office.
Responsibilities Pre-Contract responsibilities would include: Preparing capital cost estimatesAdvice on building economicsProducing lifecycle cost estimatesAdvice on tendering procedures and contract arrangementsDrafting of contract packages including advice on amendments to standard formsPrepare pricing documents for tender packagesDuring the tendering phase responsibilities would include: Providing advice on tendering proceduresDraft instructions to tenderersDevelopment of tender evaluation criteriaDrafting of PQQ questionnairesHandling queries during tender periodCommercial evaluation of all tender submissionsNegotiation with tenderersPost Contract duties would include: Valuing progress on site for interim certificatesAscertainment of amounts due to contractors for price variationValuing proposed instructionsDrafting responses to contractors' correspondenceDetermination of amounts of claimsExpediting contractors' insurances, bonds and collateral warranties; and valuating contractors' final accountsQualifications Quantity Surveying Degree requiredMinimum of 5 year experience in a consultant environment carrying out pre and post contract dutiesExcellent organizational skills with an ability to produce accurate work to project deadlinesWhy PM Group?
