Are you an experienced Senior Radiation Therapist looking for an exciting new opportunity?
Our client, a leading hospital in Waterford , is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join their team.
This is an excellent chance to work in a state-of-the-art facility, providing top-quality care and treatment to cancer patients.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with clinical protocols.
Plan and administer radiation therapy sessions using advanced equipment and techniques.
Provide leadership and guidance to junior therapists, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Collaborate closely with oncologists, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualised treatment plans.
Monitor patient's progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed to the highest standards.
Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Requirements: Degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent qualification.
Registration with CORU.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and handle complex cases with compassion and professionalism.
Knowledge of the latest developments and technologies in radiation therapy.
