Role: Senior Reporting & Process Accountant
Qualified Accountant wanted for Large Insurance Group-Dublin City Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Senior Reporting & Process Accountant to join our client, a Large Insurance Company, based in Dublin City.
This role is 2 Days in the office and will report directly into the Head of Finance.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years PQE and have experience within Insurance or Financial Services.
You will have the chance to take a key role in designing and implementing accounting and reporting systems and processes.
Your Role: Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly Group reporting packs.Prepare, validate, and report quarterly and annual figures to the CBI.Prepare monthly management accounts and presentations.Oversee month-end close procedures, including journal entries and analysis.Prepare monthly control accounts and reconcile month-end balances to the general ledger.Design and maintain a robust set of controls over all processes, ensuring compliance with Group and local policies, and ensure appropriate documentation and evidence.Ensure adherence to group guidance and accounting, industry, and regulatory standards in the delivery of financial information.Support annual statutory financial disclosure reporting.Coordinate interactions with the statutory auditor.Your Skills: Qualified accountant with 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).Strong technical and industry knowledge, with prior experience in regulatory reporting.Demonstrated expertise in change management and communications.Experience in implementing changes to business processes, technologies, and systems.Proven experience in project teams and executing change programmes.Strong oral communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with a practical approach to problem-solving.Strong knowledge of MS Office and general proficiency in IT systems.Ability to work independently or as part of a team and meet tight deadlines.Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.Should this position be of interest to you please forward your CV or alternatively call Tadhg at 01 9052560.
