Job Purpose The Sales Support Specialist will work closely with the Global Sales Support Lead and Account Executives to manage the day-to-day sales operations and improve the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization. A key responsibility will be to support the sales team to meet and exceed sales forecasts and revenue targets using data analysis and actionable reporting.
Responsibilities will include: Ensure that all proposals are prepared in accordance with commercial guidelines and approved in a timely manner for submission to the client with Account Executives.Perform cost and pricing calculations in coordination with Account Executives and Operations and ensure that the company's gross margin target is achieved as per the company strategy.Ensure that sales processes follow the appropriate approval process and are in line with the company sales strategy and commercial policy.Perform risk assessment and liaise with tool planning team to mitigate risk to the business.Review commercial impact on contract and assist in negotiations with customer as required.Responsible for client portal registration by facilitating input from various departments and maintenance of data.Platform Super User (SharePoint, CRM, Andromeda, ERP, Athena and relevant sales systems).Reviewing CRM open opportunities and Athena BI activity on a weekly basis; advising sales reps on likely issues and possible corrective actions.Review and ensure that all proposal documentation contains accurate pricing and configurations in the relevant systems.Job Requirements Bachelor's degree or vocational qualification in relevant field preferred.Two years sales experience, ideally with experience in a data driven analytical environment.Experience with MS Office.Experience of Customer Relationship Management system, ideally Sales Force.Knowledge of ERP system, SAP preferred.Great long-term career prospects and development opportunities.Challenging tasks in innovative and diverse teams.
