About the Role As a Senior Software Engineer, you will perform complex research, design and software development assignments within a software functional area or product line. Provide direct input to project plans, schedules and methodology in the development of cross functional software products.
Responsibilities Finalizing requirements by collaborating with other technical personnel or team membersWriting and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex softwareCompleting complex bug fixesTranslating complex product requirements into software designs, working closely with other development team membersImplementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviewsResolving complex technical issues as necessary Requirements Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experiencePossess extensive experience in Software EngineeringBe able to train and mentor entry-level software engineers, with experience of doing this in a similar roleExperience with Java, Spring Boot Framework, and Microservice ArchitectureBe a problem solver, innovative, and able to contribute ideas/solutionsPossess good oral and written communication skillsHave an understanding of Agile/SCRUMExperience working in an AWS or Azure Cloud Environment Women in Technology: LexisNexis Risk Solutions is very supportive of women in Technology and has been a founding signature for the Tech Talent Charter.
