QualificationsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#, and Powershell.Professional experience in Engineering Systems / DevOps including Azure DevOps, Release Management, or equivalent CI/CD practice and tooling including security and compliance.Experience working across disciplines, groups, and teams.Professional experience in a tech-lead role.Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications: A passion for engineering best practice and quality.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience in cloud development / Azure technologies.Technical problem-solving skills.An ability and desire to work in a team environment on a shared code base.An appetite for learning new skills and adapting to new challenges.Experience and/or an active interest in driving diversity & inclusion efforts.ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage engineering systems that help us build, test and release immersive experiences across a variety of 2D and 3D (Mixed Reality) endpoints.Implement solutions and toolsets that optimize development workflows and improve the overall developer experience.Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, release management pipelines, test plans and test automation suites.Contribute to a culture of best practice in engineering.Partner with industry-leading Engineers, Artists, PMs and Designers to understand and optimize their day to day workflows that are reliant on the Engineering Systems.Contribute to team growth, team health and culture by demonstrating Microsoft's leadership principles.
