We are currently working with a leading design consultancy in Dublin that is looking to hire a Senior Sustainability Engineer.

As a Senior Sustainability Engineer, you will take a leading role in driving sustainable design across a range of innovative building projects.
Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive sustainability assessments and collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and designers to embed sustainable practices throughout the project lifecycle.
You will lead energy modeling, life cycle analysis, and carbon footprint assessments to ensure optimal environmental performance.
A key part of your role will involve ensuring projects meet or exceed local and international sustainability standards, such as LEED, BREEAM, and WELL certifications.
Additionally, you will champion environmental strategies that enhance energy efficiency and sustainable outcomes.
As a senior team member, you will also mentor and guide junior engineers, contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the consultancy.
Key Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in sustainability engineering, preferably within a design or consultancy environmentStrong knowledge of sustainable building certifications (LEED, BREEAM, etc.
)Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., IES, EnergyPlus) and life cycle assessment toolsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to clients and stakeholdersPassion for sustainability, innovation, and the environment, with a strong commitment to driving positive changeOur client offers a fantastic benefits package which includes a hybrid working model, bonus, healthcare and pension schemes, chartership support, and a wellbeing allowance.
