We have an opportunity for a talented UX/UI Designer with a strong understanding of user experience and customer journey optimisation to join our User Experience team.
This role provides an opportunity to work on some very impactful design projects aimed at delivering customer centric design as part of the Digital Product Team for Musgrave. You will be organized, meticulous and ready to lead design. The role can be based in either Dublin or Cork but will involve occasional travel. Responsibilities include the following areas:
Deliver best in class user experience and user interaction design for consumer facing digital projects within the Musgrave portfolio including but not limited to SuperValu, Real Rewards and Centra.Create user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, prototypes etc in collaboration with the UX Manager and Product Managers.Responsible for conducting user research and translating the outputs into design solutions and ensure the customer is at the forefront of everything you do.Data driven in informing your design recommendations and success metrics.Stay on top of the latest guidelines and constraints for all UI matters like: iOS and Android guidelines, responsive dos and don'ts, latest visual trends.Support on ad hoc projects as needed by attending workshops, delivering wireframes & mock-ups and developing prototypes.The successful candidate will possess the following: Relevant third level qualification in design.5+ years of experience as a designer working on mobile or responsive websites projects.Extensive experience with interface design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar. We use Figma in-house.User research and data analytics experience.Strong knowledge of User Centred Design and familiarity with Service Design principles.Experience creating lo-fi wireframes and prototypes, and user flows and journeys.A working knowledge of the principles and practicalities of building, using and iterating Design Systems is a bonus.Previous experience working with Loyalty/Ecommerce projects is a bonus.Excellent attention to detail.Excellent presentation skills, capable of effectively communicating complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.This is a 12 month contract.
