The Service Engineering team drives the digitisation of processes, automation of user activities, and simplification of tool usage for all Service Management users.
The suitable candidate will provide technical leadership for the Service Engineering team.
They will ensure quality criteria are adhered to for all the project deliverables.
They will train and mentor junior staff, review other colleagues' technical deliverables, provide feedback to colleagues, and team with a focus on succession planning and knowledge management.
They will contribute and help evolve the engineering landscape through the adoption of new tools and technologies, gaining consensus from peers for methodology changes and adoption.
Key Responsibilities:Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.Provide thought leadership and direction while managing, reviewing, and conducting the day-to-day work in data insights and analytics.Apply domain knowledge to develop solutions to problems.Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.Deep working understanding of data structures, data ETL, APIs, and automation from Data Triggers.Good working understanding of tools supporting data capture and manipulation (e.g.
Java, API (Postman / Swagger), ETL (Pentaho Spoon, R), BMC Remedy developer, BMC DWPA, etc.
