Service Technician

We are an internationally recognised leader in Fire Protection Systems and are approved to Design, Manufacture, Install, Service & Commission to all standards.
We have award-winning expertise in Fire Sprinkler Protection, Foam Enhanced Fire Protection, Gas Protection, Firewater Mist Protection, Insert Gas Protection & Special Hazard Fire Protection.
Due to expansion, we look to hire an experienced Service Technician to join our team permanently.
The successful candidate will work on mechanical piping systems and will be responsible for servicing diesel engine driven fire pumps and engines.
Our head office is based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, and our Service Technician teams attend sites across Ireland and Europe.
There is a pay scale in place for this position, which includes payment for travel to and from work in a Company Vehicle.
Duties & Responsibilities:Maintenance and inspection of pump units and alarm valve arrangements onsite.Fault finding and installation of control wiring systems and panels.Stripping and overhauling of pumps and alarm valves.Fault finding and installation of pumps, engines, and motors.Filling out of report for each visit to site on iPad.Compiling detailed work orders for items requiring repair onsite.Installation fitting and manufacturing of small piping systems.The above duties are not exhaustive, and you may be allocated project work or other duties outside the scope of this job description.
