Servisource is currently recruiting a Programme Executive Research, Development and Demonstrationr for a public sector Contract length: 12-month contract Salary: €50,501 pa Working hours:35h/week from Monday to Friday Location:Dublin, Cork, Sligo or Dundalk Responsibilities Support the client National Energy Research Development and Demonstration (RD&D) Funding Programme Calls, which includes coordinating project evaluation and oversight of projects during implementation.
Participate in strategic and programme development within the RD&D Team and within the wider Research & Technology Department.
Enhance communication and dissemination activities in relation to SEAI funded RD&D projects, as well as client/Irelands involvement in other activities such as those relating to Strategic Funding Partnerships, the International Energy Agency and other activities.
Work closely with other functions within client, in particular the wider Research, Innovation & Electricity Department, to support and enhance delivery of client's research and innovation activities.
Participate and represent client in national and international committees as required.
To ensure that activity peaks within the Department are addressed in a proactive manner, it is expected that the candidate appointed to this role will need to be flexible in terms of working hours during these periods.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate A minimum of 3 years experience working in research programme administration/management or an energy research-related area.
3rd level qualification in a relevant energy-related area with an engineering, scientific or social science background, or equivalent.
Knowledge of Irelands energy-related research strengths and opportunities.
An understanding of national and European energy policy priorities and how research can support achievement of these priorities.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS Experience of working in an energy-related research environment across the public sector, academia or industry.
