Setting Out Engineer (Residential) - Dublin

Job Spec: Setting Out EngineerSalary: TBCDesired Experience: 5 years + experienceDUTIES: Carry out setting out works and other engineering principlesProviding support and information to both the project and contract management team as well as teams on the groundAssist the site manager in managing the full project scopeRequesting technical information from both the design team and specialist sub contractorsCarry out QA checks, temporary works checks, temporary works coordination.Assist in the over seining of Health & Safety policy on siteAssisting the site management team with ordering of materials and take offsLook after other key materials on site such as steel reinforcement call off and submittals as well as scheduling these to site in a timely fashionConduct regular inspections to monitor quality, address defects, and ensure work aligns with project specifications.Maintain detailed daily logs, prepare progress reports, and manage quality control documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:Essential Skills Proven experience as a setting out engineer with either a developer or main contractorProficient in the use of Auto CAD and operation of total stations and other surveying equipmentStrong leadership skillsKey eye for detail is essentialStrong knowledge of Health & Safety RegulationsExcellent communication and organisational skillsStrong initiative, self-motivated and communication skills
