The Client and overview of the Role: My Client are a Construction Project Management and Quantity Surveying Consultancy.
They are looking to bring in an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to their team.
Youd be working with Local Authorities, Government Departments, Private Individuals and Companies on projects including; residential, civil infrastructure, commercial, cultural, industrial and educational construction works.
Although they have offices in South County Dublin, they can offer a full-time from home, hybrid or full-time in the Office working arrangement.
This means that we are open to receiving interest from any area of Ireland.
As Senior QS, you would be responsible for tasks such as cost control, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning and reporting.
On top of this, you may also be responsible for managing and developing more junior staff whilst reporting in to Senior Management/Company Directors and any other internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Construction Economics You will be working toward Chartership or may already be Chartered 7+ years as Quantity Surveyor within either a Contracting or Consultancy environment Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) Knowledge of Cost Planning Strong analytical and mathematical skills Attention to detail Effective communication and teamwork skills Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel, CostX, or relevant Quantity Surveying software.
