An SHESQ Advisor is required to join Ireland's leading multi-disciplinary Engineering and Construction company. This company offers industry leading services in civil engineering, transport infrastructure, structure steel & pipe fabrication, water and wastewater, power, natural resources and ground engineering. They also have a major projects and a property division. X3 Roles available in Munster/Leinster/Dublin. Role: Assisting in maintenance of the Safety Management System, Environmental Management System and Quality Management Systems and to ensure continued compliance with ISO 45001, ISO14001 and ISO 9001. Carrying out inductions Producing monthly statistics Carry out and document site audits and inspections Keeping up-to-date with changes in safety, health and environmental legislation and construction industry guidance. Ensuring personnel on site have the pre-requisite training records Investigating, logging and monitoring of Incidents and Non-conformances Completing all necessary report forms Identifying significant safety impacts for work areas and helping set-up of appropriate controls Ensure all safety and environmental records are kept and readily available Prepare and present toolbox talks as and when required Prepare and present at monthly safety meetings Review subcontractor documentation Requirements: Relevant 3rd level qualification in health, safety, environmental and quality Minimum of 3 years relevant experience on civil engineering/construction sites Experience working on heavy civil engineering projects (deep excavations, lifting, confined space etc) Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with one or more teams, Good written and spoken communication abilities, Good IT skills with a high attention to detail, A flexible and proactive approach, Demonstrate leadership skills Salary Salary circa €50k - €60k neg DOE 27 days holiday plus bank holidays Discretionary Annual bonus and salary review Above market rate contributory pension scheme Private Healthcare allowance and more If you are a SHESQ Advisorconsidering a career move, please feel to send your CV or contact Lisa Cullen on for a confidential discussion.GPC will not send any applicants CVs to clients without a full discussion and prior consent.
