Our client is one of the leading construction contractors internationally, with its annual turnover increasing year on year. The current opportunity is for aspiring / proven Site Engineers to join an already established project and team. Their client book is strong and promises security, working nationally on some of the largest flagship projects, in Ireland & UK. The order book / projects to tender can boast a number of projects within construction: Residential, Commercial and Educational developments.
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Site Engineer to join our team in Ireland. The Construction Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction engineering, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standardsCoordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completionConduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues or potential risks on the construction sitePrepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change ordersCollaborate with the design team to resolve any engineering or design issues that may arise during constructionEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements and building codesManage and monitor construction budget and expenses, making adjustments as needed to control costsProvide technical guidance and support to construction teams and subcontractorsCandidate Profile:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldProven experience as a Construction Site Engineer or similar role in the educational industryIn-depth knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methodsStrong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standardsExcellent project management and organizational skillsAbility to effectively communicate and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including project teams, subcontractors, and clientsProficient in project management software and MS Office SuiteStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailAbility to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyPackages include a competitive salary, fully expensed vehicles and pension contributions.
