The Site Foreman will be responsible for coordinating and supervising construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesSupervise on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task delegation.Lead and manage site teams, providing guidance and support to ensure work is performed according to plans and standards.Monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure the availability of necessary materials, equipment, and resources.Conduct regular site inspections, addressing any issues or concerns promptly to maintain project momentum.Collaborate with project management to update progress reports and contribute to project planning meetings.The ideal candidate should possess the following:Strong ability to understand technical drawings and ensure all substructure works are carried out in line with specifications.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to guide site engineers and direct sub-contractors on-site.Experience in dealing with utility providers (Uisce Eireann & ESB).Hands-on, if necessary, but primarily focused on supervision.Confidence in managing tasks and ensuring the project stays on schedule.Ability to prioritize workload, excellent time management, and excellent managerial skills.Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment.Ability to coordinate on a large-scale development.10 – 15 years working on residential projects.Quintain has an exciting road ahead, and we are looking for the best talent to join our fantastic team.
