We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Senior Social Worker to join our team in North Tipperary CDNT, Nenagh, Co Tipperary Contract Type: Part time permanent contract Contract Hours: 28 Hours per week Salary: €64,386 to €75,753 pro rata per annum.
Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments) Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 days pro rata per annum Overview of the Post: To work as a member of the children's disability network team & home share team providing a quality, evidence based service to children and young people 0 - 18 years within an interdisciplinary framework and family centered practice and to support other staff and students as assigned.
Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: Please see Job Description for full list of Duties & Responsibilities The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU And Maintain live annual registration on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU And Have 3 years full time (or an aggregate of 3 years full time) relevant post qualification experience.
And Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
And Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland Desirable Criteria: Recent, relevant experience working with children and their families.
Experience working with children with disabilities.
Experience of Inter-disciplinary team working.
Some years' experience of working in the disability sector.
