Website Platform The Website Platform group blends Product and Platform engineering to maintain and evolve the Website Editing and Website Serving systems for all of Squarespace. They empower other teams to develop new features to the CMS and using next-generation technologies evolve our own platform to serve and host all of our customer sites.
You'll Get To… Practice disciplined software engineering, writing server-side code, create high-volume production applications, and developing prototypes quickly. Lead the development of new features and you will build backend services. Collaborate with other engineers and designers to provide intuitive customer-focused experiences. Ensure the reliability of systems essential to Squarespace users and businesses powered by Squarespace. Who We're Looking For 3+ years of development experience in Java, Python, Go or another Object-oriented language. Experience developing large-scale software. A solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design practices. A degree in Computer Science or related or equivalent industry experience.
