This role may require occasional presence at our Dublin and UK office. However, we're open to exploring flexible working arrangements to accommodate your needs, and we're also open to considering contractors for this role.
The role's areas of focus: Reactive Web and Integration Component Development: Take charge of designing, developing, and maintaining various components of Grouper's reactive web and integration applications, including PEAP, Calibrate, Transform, Grouper Portal, and more. Cloud-Native Application Lifecycle Management: Engage in the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud-native applications, from design and development to testing, bug fixing, and cloud deployment, ensuring seamless operation in modern cloud environments. Client-Facing API Development: Construct robust and client-facing APIs, leveraging REST and HATEOAS principles to ensure high availability and scalability, meeting the needs of diverse client requirements. Secure API Interaction: Develop and interact with secure APIs, employing technologies such as OpenID Connect and JWT to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data exchanged. Agile Scrum Participation: Actively participate in an Agile Scrum-based software development process, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic and iterative manner. What We're Looking For: Extensive Web Application Experience: Bring over 6 years of hands-on experience in building web applications, demonstrating a strong foundation in web development. Java and Spring Framework Proficiency: Showcase expertise in web development using Java and the Spring framework, ensuring robust and scalable application architectures. RESTful API Design: Demonstrate proficiency in designing and integrating RESTful APIs, facilitating seamless communication between different components of the application. Integration Solution Development: Utilize experience in designing and developing integration solutions, leveraging asynchronous integration techniques with RabbitMQ and Kafka to ensure efficient and reliable data processing. Web Application Architecture Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of web application architectures and design patterns, enabling the creation of scalable and maintainable solutions.
