Job Summary: The Spa Manager will oversee all aspects of the spa operations, ensuring a high standard of service and guest satisfaction in line with the hotel's 4-star status.
The role involves managing the spa team, developing and implementing spa treatments and services, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the spa, ensuring all services are delivered to the highest standards.
Develop and manage spa budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
Maintain inventory of spa products and equipment, and ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the spa area.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise spa staff, including therapists, receptionists, and other personnel.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development for team members.
Foster a positive and professional work environment, promoting teamwork and staff morale.
Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards and addressing any guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
Develop and implement spa packages and promotions that enhance guest satisfaction and drive business growth.
Marketing and Sales: Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Develop and manage loyalty programs and special events to increase spa revenue.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain a safe and clean environment for both staff and guests.
Financial Management: Monitor and control spa expenses, including payroll, supplies, and other operational costs.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
Guest Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, encouraging repeat visits and referrals.
Handle guest feedback and reviews, striving to resolve issues and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications: Education: Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in spa management or a similar role within a luxury or upscale environment.
Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proven ability to drive sales and achieve financial targets.
Knowledge of spa treatments, products, and industry trends.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spa management software.
Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented and organized.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
