The Technical Records Director will play a crucial role in overseeing the management of the company's aviation assets' technical records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. This position involves leading projects, managing trading campaigns, and facilitating deal closures related to technical records while ensuring the integrity of aircraft technical data. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in aircraft technical records management and a proven track record of success in the aviation industry.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Lead technical projects and trading campaigns related to aircraft records management.Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the company's aircraft records and maintenance information.Oversee the maintenance of records systems to facilitate efficient search and retrieval of aircraft records.Maintain oversight of key industry challenges and identify potential exposure and mitigation strategies.Identify opportunities to automate and simplify the process of creating and sharing aircraft technical information.Support condition-adjusted aircraft trading & part-out analysis.Develop and implement new processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Collaborate with consultants to track and resolve discrepancies in aircraft maintenance records and work packages.
Periodically audit physical aircraft and engine records in the company system to ensure accuracy and completeness.Interact with customers to provide required documents and respond to queries.Independently manage closure of open items identified during the review of technical records.Ensure timely closure of Outstanding Item List (OIL) in support of trading campaigns.Oversee collection of annual technical records such as LLPs.Other tasks as assigned by the VP Technical Support and/or AVP Technical Services Trading.KEY DIMENSIONS

8+ years' experience in aviation Technical Records environment including aircraft records auditing, delivery & redelivery process work, repossession records building to include recent on-site transition work, managing OILs, and a good understanding of back to birth traceability.Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Aviation, Engineering, or relevant field.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management tools and software.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in aircraft leasing and trading.Familiarity with industry-specific software systems.Proven leadership abilities in a technical records management role.WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Office environment with regular computer usage.Ability to use computer and software programs daily.ENVIRONMENT
Occasional travel may be required for onsite visits or meetings (20%).
