St. Vincents University Hospital | Senior Slt - Medicine For The Older Persons

Overview: To provide a quality speech and language therapy service to patients presenting with communication disorders and/or disorders of feeding, eating, drinking and swallowing.
This is a senior post with special responsibility for our Medicine for Older Persons Service and the ongoing development of our Community Liaison Service.
The post holder will work closely with our stroke SLT team including a clinical specialist and a number of rotating staff grades.
Currently, there are twelve consultants and a larger MDT attached to our Medicine for Older Persons Service.
