Vacancies exists for Staff Nurse positions in St Michaels House Day and Residential Services The successful candidates will: Have a RNID qualification and be presently registered and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Other nursing disciplines should have at year one years' experience in working with people with an intellectual disability. Have experience in the area of intellectual disability, case management of complex health needs and positive behaviour support. Be knowledgeable of New Directions As a nurse within St Michaels House, be committed to the provision of a quality individualised service and to the principles of working in partnership with service users. We provide: Three Day Organisational Orientation Programme before you commence working in St Michaels House and then a phased local induction in your allocated area of work with your manager/appointee Educational Opportunities (CPD)-The Nursing Department, in keeping with St Michaels House Strategic Plan support nurses in further education and development- many of our nurses have gone onto to complete post graduate and master's programmes in management and specialist areas. Access to senior nurses 24/7 Salary Scale: Successful candidates will be paid in line with HSE revised consolidated HSE Staff Nurse Scale.
