PROJECT QUANTITY SURVEYOR | DUBLIN 15/ HYBRID | PERMANENT We are excited to work with a wonderful client in North County Dublin who is expanding their team!
They are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis.
Based on duties in the role this position, there is the option to work from home as well as travel to project sites around Ireland based on business requirements.
ABOUT THE ROLE| As a you will play a vital role in preparing tenders for upcoming projects.
You will coordinate material and subcontractor procurement, valuation of works and financial reporting for multiple commercial projects.
Liaising, negotiating and relationship building with stakeholders on an on-going basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES| Manage inquiries from start to finish, developing a solid understanding of General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
Effectively quantify and itemise equipment and materials from provided drawings.
Create comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed proposals that meet project requirements.
Conduct reviews of new tenders, analysing documentation and plans, complete tender assessment forms Successfully handle multiple projects at once, making informed decisions while collaborating with vendors and clients to ensure project success.
Attend site inspections and meetings with stakeholders Conduct reviews of new tenders, complete tender assessment forms REQUIREMENTS| At least 2 years of relevant experience in fit-out or refurbishment estimation A full driving license and a willingness to travel to client sites as needed A third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field Proficiency in IT and familiarity with relevant software packages An ability to work independently and collaboratively, contributing positively to team dynamics and project success.
