R&D / CAD Design Technician We are recruiting for a market-leading multinational, with 165 employees in Ireland, with sites in the UK & Europe.
The R&D Team is based in North Dublin (D15) and the team of 10 is expanding!
We are now adding a Design Technician / Junior Design Engineer to join the R&D Team.
The roles in R&D, are very interesting and provide a broad range of scope for design techs & engineers looking for autonomy and control over interesting projects.
Full-time Onsite (Straight Days - 8am to 5pm - Monday to Friday) The industry My client modifies and delivers customised manufacturing solutions in the areas of Heating, Ventilation, Hot water, and Renewable Energy, operating in the Irish and UK markets.
In our state-of-the-art facility in North Dublin where they develop and manufacture a wide range of products using innovative designs and utilising modern production methods.
The ideal candidate for the Technician / Junior Engineer role A Mechanical, Mechatronic or Industrial Design qualification, with at least 6 months of CAD Design / Mechanical Design experience in a manufacturing or engineering company Strong proficiency in CAD software - SolidWorks and AutoCAD is essential Ideal candidates would have Heating systems, pipe work, sheet metal, HVAC industrial experience or similar R&D experience.
The Role in Detail: The role includes supporting the Research and Development of new and existing products, reporting to a Senior Engineer Responsible for delivering robust technical solutions to complex problems.
CAD Design work Work closely with the R&D taking care of Part & Product Design, Bill of Materials Control, Product Testing and Production Support, where required.
Development of new and existing products and components Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Sales, Production, Technical and Product Management, to define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
Design, develop, and implement innovative solutions, prototypes, and proof-of-concept models based on project requirements.
