Avoca Stock Controller   Avoca operates in 13 Store locations, Central Bakery & Kitchen, Central Stores and Weaving Production Mill across Ireland.
After all this time, the ethos of Avoca remains the same.
We cherish our time-honoured traditions, which have been lovingly passed down through several generations.
Today, there are third generation weavers working at the Mill.
Our skills might be steeped in a long and rich tradition, but our attitude is to look to the future.
Now heralded as one of Ireland's most exciting retail stores, there are Avoca ceramics, clothing, perfumes, soaps and more from our own design studio.
We have a host of award-winning cafes and restaurants, Food Markets crammed with artisanal ingredients from near and far, as well as a best-selling range of Avoca cookbooks.
There are also gardens to explore at many of our stores, as well as florists and garden centres.
The list goes on.
And all of this from a modest handweaving mill, established in a rural Irish village in 1723.
    Stockroom Controller Description of the role: The opportunity has arisen for a full-time Stockroom Controller to work in Avoca Kildare Village. This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start, reporting to the General Manager, Avoca Kildare Village.
  Responsibilities Stock control through use of the EPOS system Stock Counts Ad-hoc duties as determined by the Manager Goods Inwards and Outwards Maintaining a clean and organised stock room Stock Rotation & Date Checks   Requirements Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in a physically demanding environment Excellent Timekeeping Effective teamwork and communication skills is essential Experience in a warehouse environment is a distinct advantage Communicate effectively with team members Knowledge in cycle counting and full stock takes.
Manual Handling knowledge or experience is desirable Good attention to detail, accuracy and adhering to Avoca's high standard of service Goods Inwards & Outwards experience Meridian EPOS knowledge preferable but not essential, as training will be provided   Why work with us?
