Store Manager

A leading retailer, experts of hair and beauty products, are seeking a Store Manager to join their Dublin 22 site on a permanent basis. Serving both the professional and retail customer, the Store Manager will be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing a team of Store Assistants.

Salary: €40,000 basic max

Bonus: Benefits: Pension, staff discount, bike to work, 23 days annual leave

Hours: 8am – 5pm Mon – Fri, 12pm – 4pm Sun

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team of 10+, be confident in performance management/ER, possess good stock management experience, and have an interest in the industry. You must have a commercial mindset and the sales ability to drive revenue.

Duties & Responsibilities: Coach & develop team members to high levels of service and selling skills Promote multi-channel sales propositions Continually assess customer feedback and initiate action plans accordingly Ensure customer relationships reflect our values Manage and motivate store team to deliver targets Timely management and execution of marketing campaigns Identify commercial trends, suggesting improvements to product range to drive business forward Ensure broad knowledge of competitor activity and local market conditions Identify opportunities in-store to grow sales Identify opportunities outside of store to grow sales and acquire customers Keep up to date on the hair and beauty industry Proactively upskill yourself on our products and brands Develop your knowledge of our Sally Europe business Identify strengths and development areas and put into practice Support team to grow and achieve through training and teamwork Recruit, develop, and grow the store team Identify individuals with potential for growth Lead by example our core values within the team and embed them into our way of working Implement adequate plans to ensure a fully staffed store appropriate to work and customer demands Employee metrics – turnover, absence, ER cases, induction sign off, performance ratings Team feedback Audit results Achievement of sales targets (KPI scorecards, Gross profit, UPT, ATV, SPH, customer acquisition) Ensure stock accuracy Communicate and achieve store business plan objectives
