Our luxurious hotel consists of 90 guest rooms and 3 self-catering lodges with their own unique story and style which provide the perfect setting for weddings and all sorts of special events.
The Brasserie and The Fairways Restaurant serve an array of delicious food in a relaxing environment which boasts panoramic views across our golf course, the Blessington Lakes and Wicklow Mountains.
All our food is sourced locally from our Irish farmers, cheese mongers and suppliers.
We're also causing quite the stir with our fine selection of beers and cocktails!
Located just 45 minutes from Dublin City and 25 minutes from the M50, the hotel is easily accessible. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the storage and security of stock within the Hotel and to complete the relevant administration tasks as necessary. Duties will include: To ensure that the Stores/Yard area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Follow rigidly and observe all hygiene and HACCP regulations.
To check in all deliveries to the Hotel, comparing with the relevant Purchase Order form, ensuring all deliveries arrive in the correct condition.
To perform vehicle checks on all deliveries ensuring that goods are transported in the correct conditions.
To complete reports as necessary on vehicle checks and any irregularities.
To order goods as required for all departments, ensuring the correct administration is completed.
To maintain hygienic conditions within the cold storage and frozen storage facilities, by cleaning on a regular basis.
To ensure security video coverage of stores and delivery areas at all times, including the completion of the relevant administration.
To promote the safety and security of the premises in your area of work, ensuring entrances are not unlocked unnecessarily.
To compare prices of various suppliers, ensuring the Hotel and Company receives the best value for money.
To liaise with all departments within the Hotel to ensure requirements are met with regard to supplies.
To run errands as necessary.
To remove all waste from the Hotel to the correct skip or using the correct method of disposal in accordance with Company and Hotel policy.
To ensure that the appropriate methods of Waste Management are in place and adhered to by Hotel staff.
To deal with any customer complaints in a professional manner and to notify management of same.
To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and to co-operate with the Hotel grooming policy.
