The Opportunity Join our Building Engineering team in Dublin and contribute to impactful projects across Ireland and Europe.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for career development and the chance to work on cutting-edge structural engineering projects.
As a Structural Engineer at Arup, you will: Undertake the structural engineering design for projects, from concept to detailed and construction, reporting to senior engineers and project managers.Coordinate through the design process and integrate with associated design requirements from various design partners.Prepare structural calculations, reports and specifications, supporting the delivery of designs through the construction process.Work independently and be responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of your own work.Does this role inspire you? These are the essential skills and qualifications for the position:
Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience in structural design.Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or similar.
MEng or equivalent preferred.We also value:
Excellent communication and report writing skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.Experience dealing with contractor queries and attendance at site meetings.Proficiency in relevant design software packages.Why Arup?
