Supply Chain Strategy Lead - Cork Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Strategy Lead to join their Cork team.
They will develop procurement and contracting strategies to enhance supply chain performance, reporting to the Supply Chain Strategy Manager.
This role involves market engagement, supplier management, and supporting tender processes.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with external suppliers for market insights and build partnerships.
Prepare strategy packs for the Tender Delivery Team.
Present procurement strategies to governance committees.
Analyse market conditions and benchmark with peer organizations.
Support tender processes, including commercial negotiations.
Manage frameworks and supplier performance.
Oversee direct reports and ensure strategic alignment.
Maintain supply chain metrics and KPIs.
Requirements: Third-level qualification/accreditation desirable.
At last 5 years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relations.
Proven leadership, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
