Abbott Ireland In Ireland, Abbott employs about 6,000 people across ten sites. We are currently investing in our tenth site in Kilkenny and have six established manufacturing facilities already located in Clonmel, Cootehill, Donegal, Longford, and Sligo, and a third-party manufacturing management operation in Sligo. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Cherrywood, Dublin, you will partner closely with hiring teams and Business HR, supporting recruitment activities. This TA Specialist will support the Dublin Financial Shared Services centre and commercial, operations, and corporate functions across the UK and Ireland, driving full-cycle recruiting efforts from intake session through to offer negotiation and hire.
Responsibilities will include: Full cycle recruiting, from the requirement definition through offer negotiation and hiring, using Abbott's ATS and CRM.Develop and execute sourcing strategies that leverage the use of cost-effective recruiting channels such as the Abbott careers page, job boards, social media posts, applicant tracking system data sources, referral programs, virtual job fairs, and Diversity talent pipelines.Ensuring structured/competency-based interview process is followed for each hiring requirement, running assessment centres when required.Ensuring ATS (Workday) is maintained providing reporting as and when required.Providing strategic market data and market research.Identifying and resolving issues proactively.Collaborating closely with Key Internal Stakeholders, including first-line hiring managers, Business HR, TA colleagues, HR practice centres, and HR service centres.Critical Capabilities: Support the operational hiring strategy and drive through established actions that yield tangible recruiting results. Occasionally you will need to customize the same.Build credibility with hiring managers, candidates, and within the Talent Acquisition team through successful placements, knowledge of the labour marketplace, and Abbott business and job functions. Actively influence candidates to join Abbott.Take accountability for the hiring plan, timeline, and deliverables, and make informed decisions throughout the recruiting process.Support and embrace application or process change initiatives.Demonstrate skills in reporting and presenting data using Abbott systems and MS suite.
