Abbott Ireland In Ireland, Abbott employs about 6,000 people across ten sites. We are currently investing in our tenth site in Kilkenny and have six established manufacturing facilities already located in Clonmel, Cootehill, Donegal, Longford and Sligo and a third-party manufacturing management operation in Sligo. Abbott also has commercial, support operations and shared services in Dublin and Galway. We have been making a difference in the lives of Irish people since 1946.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Cherrywood, Dublin, you will partner closely with hiring teams and Business HR, supporting recruitment activities. This TA Specialist will support Dublin Financial Shared Services centre and commercial, operations and corporate functions across UK and Ireland driving full-cycle recruiting efforts from intake session through to offer negotiation and hire.
Responsibilities will include: Full cycle recruiting, from the requirement definition, through offer negotiation and hiring, using Abbott's ATS and CRM.Develop and execute sourcing strategies that leverage the use of cost-effective recruiting channels.Ensuring structured/competency-based interview process is followed for each hiring requirement, running assessment centres when required.Ensuring ATS (Workday) is maintained providing reporting as and when required.Providing strategic market data and market research.Identifying and resolving issues pro-actively.Collaborating closely with Key Internal Stakeholders.Critical Capabilities: Support the operational hiring strategy and drive through established actions outcomes that yield tangible recruiting results.Build credibility with hiring managers, candidates, and within Talent Acquisition team through successful placements.Take accountability for the hiring plan, timeline, and deliverables.Support and embrace application or process change initiatives.Demonstrate skills in reporting and presenting data using Abbott systems and MS suite.Support in-country and in-division TA projects.Endurance and resilience: Problem-solve through set-backs and adapt to changes in direction.Requirements: University degree or equivalent.Strong track record of sourcing via tools and networks.Interview and assessment skills to assess candidate's business capabilities, technical background, and key behaviours.Minimum of 3 years' experience, ideally a combination of agency and in-house experience.Experience delivering meaningful candidate slates to hiring managers whilst operating in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.Fluent English language skills are required, another EMEA language would be an advantage.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong work ethic, motivated to deliver best in class recruitment.Professional, accountable, and collaborative team player.What we will give you: Opportunity to work in a leading global organisation.Working on some of the most exciting expansion projects in the Life Sciences sector.Competitive compensation package with family healthcare and pension.Up-skilling/training in the Abbott suite of Talent Acquisition Tools.Connect with us at www.abbott.com or https://www.ie.abbott/, on LinkedIn at www.linkedin.com/company/abbott-/, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/Abbott and on Twitter @AbbottNews.
