As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting top talent, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and contributing to our overall business success. You will work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. From screening CVs, to conducting interviews, to successfully hiring new members of the team – your recruitment expertise in the German markets will be invaluable.
We are dedicated to attracting and developing top talent in our offices across Europe including Germany, Ireland, Spain and the Netherlands. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support our recruitment efforts across our European locations while working from our vibrant Dublin office.
DAY TO DAYEnd-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for various roles across the German-speaking markets.Sourcing Candidates: Identify, attract, and engage top talent using various sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and networking events. Conduct proactive searches for both active and passive candidates.Building Talent Pools: Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical roles in the German-speaking regions to meet the future hiring needs of the business.Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs, role requirements, and desired skill sets, providing recruitment advice and strategies.Interviewing: Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews with candidates. Assess candidates for cultural add, technical skills, and career aspirations.Candidate Experience: Ensure an exceptional candidate experience by providing timely communication, feedback, and guidance throughout the recruitment process.Employer Branding: Support and promote the company's employer branding initiatives in German-speaking markets.Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with local employment laws, data protection regulations, and internal policies. Manage candidate records and recruitment processes in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activity within the German-speaking job market. Provide insights and data-driven recommendations to improve recruitment strategies.Reporting: Provide regular reports on recruitment progress, KPIs, and challenges to management, ensuring alignment with hiring targets and timelines. REQUIRED SKILLSLanguage Skills: Excellent level of written and spoken German language skills are essential. Proficiency in English is also required for day-to-day communication within the Dublin office.Recruitment Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a recruitment role, with a focus on hiring for German-speaking regions.Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders across different levels and locations.Proactive Sourcing Ability: Proven experience in sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and headhunting.Interviewing and Assessment: Experience in conducting interviews and assessments, with a solid understanding of evaluating technical and cultural add.Stakeholder Management: Ability to work closely with hiring managers and provide advice on recruitment best practices and market conditions.Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing business needs and priorities, with a positive and problem-solving mindset.Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with recruitment technology, such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.Cultural Awareness: Understanding of the cultural nuances and employment laws specific to the German market.We know that not all requirements may apply to you.
