The ALG School is the home of all learning at A&L Goodbody (ALG). It reflects the strategic importance placed on continuous professional development at the firm. The ALG School is managed by the Talent Development Team and provides a wide range of custom programmes for ALG staff.
An opportunity has arisen in the Talent Development team. The person in this role will contribute to the seamless execution and delivery of a range of ALG School Programmes/initiatives.

The primary responsibilities of the position are to coordinate, schedule, deliver, and manage best in class development programmes. The successful candidate will join the Talent Development Team that sits within the broader Talent department at ALG.
Role and responsibilities Key areas of responsibility include:
Play a leading role in onboarding new joiners, supporting them with systems training and introduction to the ways of working at ALGDeliver and support training for rollout of new technologies across the firmCreate and maintain written training instructions and online learning materials in the form of e-learning courses, training videos, and intranet pagesSupport Talent Development Managers in managing, coordinating, and delivering ALG School programmes for colleagues across the firm including:Stakeholder managementVenue managementInvoice and file managementScheduling and managing attendance of attendees and facilitatorsAttendance tracking utilising LMSCollation of feedback and dataUtilise LMS and other departmental trackers to ensure excellent recordsTake ownership of specific administration tasks within the overall teamWork on dedicated projects within the team structureSkills, experience and characteristics required A minimum of 2 years' experience in a high performing professional environmentExperience working as part of an L&D team an advantageExperience in delivery of technical training an advantageAdvanced IT skills and excellent working knowledge of:MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, MS TeamsExperience with eLearning tools (such as Vyond and Articulate) an advantageProven ability to and interest in project and/or event management (Qualification/Experience in either an advantage)Highly organised with exceptional attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keenly collaborative styleA post-leaving certificate qualification e.g. degree, diploma/certificate, or equivalent relevant work experienceSelf-driven - Ability to work unsupervised as part of a teamProactive - Takes initiative rather than reacting to requestsResults focused - Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strive for excellent resultsAdaptable - Proven track record of being adaptable and able to handle multiple responsibilities/tasksA pragmatic and solutions orientated attitude to challengesEnjoys working in a team environment and a collaborative cultureInvests time in building effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholdersA high level of discretion and trust with confidential informationApproachable and highly professional in manner.
