About the Role: An exciting career opportunity is available on the Human Resources Team in AIB. Talent Management is a core pillar of AIB's people strategy and significant progress has been made in recent years advancing AIB's talent maturity, embedding AIB's talent framework and continues to be a top strategic priority to enable business success.
Talent Management is a centre of excellence ('CoE') within the Organisation Effectiveness function in Human Resources ('HR'), with a core purpose of developing and delivering the talent strategy for AIB. The CoE's objectives include identification and development of talent in AIB and succession planning for leadership and c-suite positions. The Talent Management CoE is also responsible for delivery of all senior selection and Executive Search activity in AIB.
The purpose of the Organisation Effectiveness function is to successfully drive and deliver the Talent & Culture agenda through the acquisition and management of talent, identification and development of talent, succession planning, organisation design, team effectiveness and management of people strategies, to meet evolving business needs in the medium to long term and promote HR's value and connection across the Group.
Reporting to the Talent Management Manager, the Talent Management Specialist will collaborate with other HR Colleagues to share knowledge and support on delivering the people agenda in order to add value to the business through talent mapping, succession planning and leadership development. The Talent Management Specialist role supports the Talent Management Manager and Head of Talent Management with the development and roll-out of best practice inclusive talent management tools, frameworks and practices for talent mapping, identification of differentiated talent (such as High Potentials and Emerging Talent) and successors for all levels of succession planning across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities Include: Programme coordination and delivery of events and key projects and priorities for the Talent Pillar of AIB's People Strategy including talent reviews, leadership development programmes and designing processes and templates.Co-ordinate cyclical Talent Management and Succession Planning fora across the enterprise.Analysis and interpretation of enterprise-wide data to provide provocative real-time insights on talent pools across the enterprise at all career levels.Work closely with HRBP team and other key stakeholders to ensure consistent and value-add approach is applied to Talent Management in AIB.Focus on the timely and accurate end to end administration of talent management activities including creation of materials and toolkits for all stakeholders as required.Manage the organisation, administration and delivery of talent management activities to defined requirements, updating trackers, project plans and the Talent Management database accordingly.Liaise and communicate with relevant stakeholders to ensure talent and assessment activities proceed to the required timescales.Engage with third party suppliers to ensure activities are on track and coordinates with internal stakeholders to schedule activities.Manage day to day relationships with key stakeholders and ensures all queries and issues are resolved in a timely manner.Prepare regular reports and insights analysis for any scope of activity for talent management and ensure same are regularly updated.Provide general administration support for ad-hoc Talent projects and tasks and any other duties as required, in support of the project/programme schedule.Research best practice talent management approaches and topics as required.Collaborate and co-create with the Talent Management Manager, all end-to-end materials for the Talent Management CoE.Ensure activities are captured on project management plans and roadmaps and coordinate with internal stakeholders as required to schedule activities ensuring the prioritisation of activities proceed to the required timescales.Support and manage other talent management activities for the Talent CoE as required, including talent mapping, leadership assessments and selection processes for senior appointments.What you will bring: 2+ years relevant experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, Learning, Organisation Development, or other relevant discipline.IT Literate - including all MS Office – strong Excel (particular focus on pivot tables and charts), PowerPoint and SharePoint experience.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.Experience supporting project delivery coordination/administration, strong organisation skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.Professional individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Life at AIB At AIB, we have a clear purpose - Empowering people to build a sustainable future.
