Tax Consultant

BenchMark are looking for a proactive and dedicated Tax Consultant with a passion for excellence in Co Cork.
You will play a critical role in managing client relationships, overseeing complex tax assignments, and providing innovative tax solutions.

The Role: •Lead tax planning projects, including restructuring and succession planning for privately-owned businesses and partnerships.
•Provide expert VAT advisory services, particularly in property transactions and company structuring.
•Manage ad-hoc queries related to income tax, corporation tax, VAT, and stamp duty, ensuring the highest standard of service.
•Collaborate with our regional offices to implement consistent tax standards and drive practice development initiatives.
•Develop and nurture client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and delivering customized tax solutions that meet each client's unique needs.
Requirements •QAITI/CTA qualified, with a strong academic background and excellent exam results.
•At least 3-4 years of experience in a tax consultancy role, ideally within a medium to large practice.
•In-depth technical knowledge across all major tax heads, along with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
A commercially aware professional who can handle multiple client issues with confidence and prioritization.
•Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on clear, concise report writing.
•A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to manage tight deadlines while delivering high-quality work.
