Our client, a top 10 accounting practice in Ireland, is looking for experienced Tax Managers to join their team. These roles have come about because of significant growth within their practice and internal progression. These roles can be based from their Dublin or Waterford offices. Responsibilites: Overseeing the delivery, creation, and evaluation of corporate tax services for a diverse clientele spanning industries such as international trade, renewable energy, aircraft leasing, retail, and high net-worth private clients
Providing expert counsel on both domestic and international corporate tax matters within the Irish context
Collaborating with our corporate finance division on conducting due diligence for company and asset transactions
Facilitating seamless communication with other departments, particularly audit and business services, to address tax-related concerns
Cultivating and enhancing business relationships and visibility in the market, locally and through our global networks
Contributing as a valuable member of a cross-functional team comprised of tax, advisory, and accounting specialists
Supervising day-to-day operations within the tax team.
Guiding, nurturing, and empowering junior team members through mentorship and coaching.
Carving out your own career path within our rapidly expanding tax practice, offering abundant opportunities for advancement.
Requirements: AITI/CTA qualification or equivalent certification.
Minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in taxation and in a similar role
Proficiency in managing and mentoring the growth of junior team members
Exceptional organizational prowess and strategic planning abilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven aptitude in project management, consistently meeting stringent deadlines
A keen business sense with a knack for commercial insights
Effective written communication skills, particularly in report writing
Ability to excel both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
