Monzo Europe is an Irish-based subsidiary of the Monzo Group which will, upon authorisation, be the base for Monzo's expansion as a bank in the European Union. This is a unique opportunity to be among the first team members on the ground in Dublin.
We know that an excellent Team Assistant leads to better outcomes for our customers by enabling the performance of the leaders and teams they support. You'll work closely with our EU Leadership team to provide direct support and to enable them to do more as you are taking care of the details. Joining the European collective, you'll collaborate with our existing UK team to keep Monzo running and to continue to raise the bar on what great support looks like.
You'll also be at the heart of all things engagement, culture & community at Monzo Europe. You'll focus on helping to bring Monzo magic to the forefront of a Monzonauts experience, whether they're based in the Dublin offices or work permanently from home. No two days are alike as you're responsible not only for running the office, providing diary support for our leaders, but also new employee onboarding, company events and engagement strategy. We collaborate throughout the business to achieve great things for our Monzonauts that keep them safe and satisfied.
ResponsibilitiesManaging our leaders' time to ensure their diaries are accurate, free from clashes, prioritised and creating space for them to get work done. Proactively supporting them to keep their plates spinning.Owning the logistics of your leaders work life and their events. This could look like arranging travel arrangements, planning socials for their team and ensuring they have a meeting room for every meeting.Supporting important weekly meetings including taking minutes and recording actions.You'll work closely with our building/office management teams to ensure Monzonauts are feeling engaged and working effectively to make the office a great and safe place to be.Supporting our People team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for our new joiners, including onboarding.We'd love to hear from you if … You have excellent English written & verbal communication skills.You're calm under pressure and have a positive attitude.You're resilient and tenacious in your approach to getting things done.You have strong problem solving skills and are able to context switch with ease.You have the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise time sensitive workloads.You're not afraid to ask questions to gather the context you need to work autonomously.You have the ability to work well independently & work collaboratively as part of a team to get things done.You have Fluency in MacOS, Slack, and GSuite tools and the ability to adapt to learn new systems and processes.You have a heart for People: You create fantastic employee experiences and nurture an inclusive environment.You're a Monzo ambassador: you embody our culture and values, ensuring they shine through in every interaction.What's in it for you This role will be based in our Dublin office, 5 days per week.
We offer flexible working hours and trust you to work enough hours to do your job well, and at times that suit you and your team.
€1,000 learning budget each year to use on books, training courses and conferences.
